Job Description

This role includes analysis and scoping of musical activity both in and out of school to support the development and management of instrumental and vocal tuition, term-time out-of-school activities, and school partnerships.

You will play a key role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality, accessible music education that aligns with Kent Music's values of creativity, inclusion, and achievement.

  • Oversee music centre activities, performances, projects, and programs, ensuring alignment with Kent Music's safeguarding and inclusion policies.
  • Manage budgets, collect data, and provide reports on all activities.
  • Line manage an area administrator and music centre staff, ensuring high-quality customer service and administration.
Key Responsibilities:
  1. Strong leadership and strategic planning skills.
  2. Proven experience in music education, particularly in building instrumental and vocal tuition programs.
  3. Commitment to inclusion, diversity, and youth engagement. As the Hub Lead Organisation (HLO) for the Kent & Medway Music Hub, Kent Music is a music education charity.

Salary: £45,000 - £55,000 per annum.
