We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our team at Reed Engineering. As a key member of our engineering department, you will be responsible for maintaining the reliability of our manufacturing equipment, site services, and facilities across multiple sites.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Respond effectively to mechanical and electrical breakdowns across multiple sites.
  • Collaborate with production staff to minimize machinery issues, providing realistic timescales and updates on the progress of each breakdown.
  • Maintain Preventive Maintenance (PPM) schedules in line with current requirements.
  • Identify and implement improvements to enhance factory and plant operations.
  • Uphold high standards of quality, food safety, and health & safety for products, self, and others.
  • Participate in project management and contribute to energy saving and waste reduction initiatives.
  • Train staff in areas of expertise and support production in setting up production lines for quick changeovers.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience as a Multi-Skilled Engineer in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
  • Commitment to quality, food safety, and health & safety standards.
  • Project management skills and a proactive approach to continuous improvement.
