Production Supervisor

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Production Supervisor to join our team at Culina Group. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our production processes, meeting production targets, and maintaining high-quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• To effectively motivate and lead a team of production staff to meet production targets and maintain high-quality standards.
• To ensure the final product meets client specifications and quality standards.
• To maximize production efficiency and ensure that production plans are met on a daily basis.
• To effectively use integrated management systems to monitor and control production processes.
• To adhere to and promote best practice in accordance with company health, safety, and quality regulations.
• To ensure all paperwork and systems are completed and accurate in accordance with company procedures.
• To ensure that all areas comply with hygienic audits, both internal and external.
• To ensure GMP and housekeeping standards are strictly adhered to.
• To assist in the development of a skills matrix for production staff.
• To attend line leader meetings and relevant training courses as required.
• To assist in the identification and development of line leaders to promote success planning.
• To assist in the training and development of new starters.
• To act as a role model for best practice and promote a positive work culture.
• To monitor, control, and minimize waste.
• To participate in continuous improvement initiatives.
• To participate in the company's PDP program.
• To act as a specialist for machinery knowledge and provide technical support as required.
• To drive personal development through training and work-based experience.
• To manage the output of assigned production and effectively deal with issues as they arise.
• To liaise with customers and clients as required.
• To be prepared to cover a variety of shifts to represent the management team.

Qualifications

• H&S L2 Qualification.
• NVQ L2 in Team Leading or Packing Operations.

Desirable

• NVQ L3 – Team Leading.
• First Aid.
• Fire Marshall.
