Electrical Maintenance Engineer

Bede's Trust is seeking a skilled and dedicated Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join our Estates Team. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of electrical systems across the school.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure all electrical repairs and installations are carried out to National Inspection Council for Electrical Installation (NICEIC) regulations.
  • Assist with daily work scheduling for the electrical team and contractors, prioritizing tasks to meet service level agreements and allocated budget.
  • Respond to emergencies during working hours, liaising with Facilities and Maintenance Manager, Senior School Security Coordinator, and Prep Security Caretaker as needed.
  • Support the school's commitment to its Net Zero strategy by researching and implementing sustainable electrical systems and practices.
Requirements:
  • NVQ Level 3 Electrician Qualification or a minimum of 4 years' experience.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
