Radiographer - Private Clinic

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Specialist Radiographer to join our Radiology team at The Harborne Hospital in Birmingham. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality imaging services to our patients.
About the RoleThis is a full-time position, working 37.5 hours per week, with shift times between 08:00 and 20:00. The successful candidate will be required to rotate through MRI and CT, with the opportunity to work in Plain Film X-ray when necessary.
- Rotate through CT and MRI, ensuring the correct patient receives the correct x-ray examination with the minimum radiation dose.
- Work within Radiation protection guidelines, adhering to Local Rules and 2017 Ionising Radiation Medical Exposure Regulations IR(ME)R.
- Provide high-level customer care, maintaining patient confidentiality at all times.
- Work as a team player, ensuring cover is provided at all times across all modalities, maximising clinical efficiency.
- Participate in an on-call rota and extended working days (by rota).
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- HCPC registration.
- Prior experience in MRI and CT (Siemens preferable).
- The willingness to rotate through General scanning and theatres.
- Familiarity with PACS and RIS software systems.
- Familiarity with undertaking audits.
