World-Class Software House, a leading developer of SaaS products for the Healthcare Industry, is seeking a skilled Senior Software Development Lead to join their Agile team in Edinburgh. This is a hands-on role, with a focus on technical leadership and guidance of a multi-disciplinary team.

The ideal candidate will have experience in leading software development projects, with a strong understanding of modern technologies such as SOLID principles, Design Patterns, and Restful APIs. They will be responsible for guiding the team in the initial design and proof of concept discussions, early architecture designs, and hands-on development work.

The company places a strong emphasis on doing software development correctly, with a focus on quality and best practices. The successful candidate will have experience with cloud services, such as Azure, AWS, or GCP, and will be familiar with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, ideally with Angular.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Leading the development team and guiding them in the design and implementation of software solutions
  • Providing technical leadership and guidance to the team
  • Collaborating with the Engineering Manager to ensure the team is working efficiently and effectively
  • Identifying and mitigating technical risks and issues
