Job Overview

A prominent manufacturing company is seeking a skilled Mechanical Plant Engineer to oversee the daily operations of their machine shop.

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the plant's availability, reliability, and effectiveness. This includes recognizing future improvements and maintenance requirements, as well as day-to-day reliability of equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Ensure that the plant is running safely and effectively.
  2. Develop and implement plans to ensure future reliability of the plant.
  3. Analyze engineering-based non-standards and identify areas for improvement.
  4. Investigate and resolve recurring plant issues to maximize uptime.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in a relevant industry.
  • IOSH certification preferred.
