Dental Nurse Position at Woolwich Dental Centre

We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Dental Nurse to provide clinical and administrative support to the Dental Officer at Woolwich Dental Centre.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and sterilize instruments
- Perform reception duties and document handling
- Operate the dental computing system
- Process radiographs
- Shared maintenance tasks
- Work in the central sterilization area
Standards to Comply:
- Comply with all relevant Authority policy, including DPHC (Dental) policies, regulations and orders
- Ensure surgery management, document administration, and maintenance of equipment is undertaken to the standards laid out in JSP
- Comply with Radiation Safety Orders and adhere to current Control of Substances Hazardous to Health (COSHH) regulations
Essential Requirements:
- Fully registered with the General Dental Council (GDC) without restrictions
- Hold valid suitable and appropriate indemnity insurance with a recognized dental defence organisation
- Provide evidence of clinical currency in accordance with JSP 950 Leaflet 4-1-4
- Completed GDC highly recommended Continuing Professional Development (CPD)
- Trained and current in emergency and resuscitation procedures
Desirable Requirements:
- Previous Ministry of Defence (MoD) experience
- Hold a Dental Nurse qualification
