MC Technical Recruitment Ltd is seeking a highly skilled Electrical Technician to join their team at a biomass power station in Scotland.

The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and executing maintenance work across the site, ensuring minimal downtime. They will work closely with the Maintenance Manager and other technicians to maintain accurate records using the CMMS.

The role involves fault finding, repair work, and planned & reactive maintenance on a wide range of plant equipment. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a hands-on maintenance or servicing role in a heavy process industry, such as a power station or chemical plant.

A relevant engineering qualification (NVQ/ONC Level 3) in mechanical or electrical engineering is essential, along with at least 2 years of post-apprenticeship experience. Experience managing contractors and using a CMMS is also desirable.

This permanent position offers a competitive salary of up to £45,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus benefits including company pension, overtime opportunities, private medical cover, and a site bonus.
