Remedy Education is looking for a dynamic SEN Teacher to join our team in a Primary School in Southwark. This is a long-term opportunity for an individual who can contribute to creating a supportive and inclusive learning environment for students with special educational needs.
Responsibilities:- Design and deliver engaging lessons tailored to the needs of students, promoting academic achievement and social growth.
- Work collaboratively with teachers, support staff, and school leaders to ensure a cohesive approach to teaching and learning.
- Maintain open communication with parents regarding student progress, behaviour, and concerns.
- Participate in ongoing professional development opportunities and staff meetings/training sessions.
- Ensure adherence to the school's safeguarding policies, maintaining a safe and supportive environment for all students.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a teaching qualification
- Previous experience in a UK primary school setting, particularly with SEN
- Up-to-date safeguarding training issued within the last year
- Enhanced child barred list DBS certificate
