Job Title: Water Treatment Specialist

Location: Midlands region

Salary / Benefits: £24k - £40k + Training + Benefits

About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Water Treatment Specialist to join our client's team. As a Water Treatment Specialist, you will be responsible for carrying out various water treatment and remedial duties on healthcare, industrial, local authority, retail, and leisure sites. You will work in line with HSG 274 / ACoP L8 guidelines and have the opportunity to expand your knowledge and experience in the water treatment industry.

Key Responsibilities:

* Attend a mixed portfolio of sites to carry out L8 compliance duties in line with ACoP L8 / HSG 274 guidelines
* Water sampling and temperature monitoring
* Showerhead descales and disinfections
* Mains injections
* Fault finding and rectifying issues in a timely manner
* CWST cleans and disinfections
* Deadleg removals
* Removing, installing, and rerouting copper and PVC pipework
* Flushing of little used outlets
* TMV installation, servicing, and replacements
* Closed system sampling and analysis
* Dosing closed systems with correct chemicals
* Updating onsite logbooks
* Liaising with clients and providing excellent technical support and advice when required

Requirements:

* Hold the City and Guilds L2 or higher in plumbing
* Experience working hands-on as an engineer for an established Water Treatment / Water Hygiene company
* In-depth knowledge of HSG 274 / ACoP L8 guidelines
* Good IT and literacy skills
* Good timekeeping skills
