- Liaise with property managers, residents, and external stakeholders to address queries and ensure smooth operations.
- Prepare year-end accounts, reconcile statements, and manage audit processes effectively.
- Provide financial analysis and recommendations to improve cost efficiency and transparency in service charge management.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Service Charge Accountant, preferably with a focus on Resident Management Companies.
- Proficiency in using Qube software for financial management and reporting.
- Strong knowledge of service charge accounting principles, leasehold legislation, and RICS guidelines.
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail in managing complex financial data.
- Effective communication and interpersonal abilities to collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and a commitment to delivering high-quality service to clients.
