Senior Biomedical Scientist

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Biomedical Scientist to join our Blood Sciences team at The London Clinic. As a Senior Biomedical Scientist, you will play a key role in providing an efficient and effective service, working closely with the Chief BMS and Blood Sciences team members to cultivate and maintain a culture of continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and manage technical and scientific tasks within the team, ensuring high-quality results and efficient workflows.
- Oversee equipment maintenance and development of Quality, Learning, and Health and Safety Management Systems within designated work areas.
- Carry out and supervise technical and scientific work in the laboratory under the direction of the Chief Biomedical Scientist or Consultant.
- Collaborate with Blood Sciences team members and leaders to drive continuous improvement and excellence in patient care.
Requirements
- HCPC post-registration Blood Sciences laboratory experience.
- Comprehensive theoretical and practical knowledge of Haematology.
- Good understanding of quality management systems and ISO standards.
- Previous experience in Haematology of at least 5 years.
- Blood Film morphology and Parasitology experience.
