About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Early Years Practitioner to join our team at Bright Horizons Teddington Cedar Road Nursery and Preschool. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for planning, creating, and implementing engaging activities tailored to each child's needs, promoting their development towards key milestones.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and implement engaging activities for children, observing and tracking their progress.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with parents and carers, ensuring their needs are met.
  • Promote and ensure child welfare, protection, health, and safety at all times.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to maintain a positive and safe environment.

Requirements:

  • Full and relevant Level 2/3 or above Early Years qualification.
  • Previous experience working with children, ideally in a nursery setting.
  • Passion for making learning fun and engaging for each child.
  • Ability to build trust and strong working relationships with colleagues and parents.
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of Safeguarding, Child Protection, and legislative requirements.
