Primary School Sports Educator Wanted

Reeson Education is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Sports Teaching Assistant to join our client's team at a primary school in Acton. This role offers a great opportunity for someone looking to gain experience in a classroom-based environment and potentially progress into teacher training.

About the Position:

  • This role involves assisting and sometimes leading PE and sports sessions for students in KS1 and KS2.
  • You will also be responsible for running lunchtime and after-school sports clubs.

About You:

  • We are looking for an individual with a passion for education and the well-being of students.
  • A sports-related degree or qualification is desirable, along with a minimum of 3 months' experience working with children.
  • An Enhanced DBS (which Reeson Education can assist with) is required for this position.

Key Details:

  • The weekly pay range for this role is £400-£550 per week, depending on your level of experience.
  • As this is a term-time only position, you will have additional school holiday days available.
  • The working hours are Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM - 4:30 PM.
  • Support and learning opportunities are provided on the job.

Location and Accessibility:

The school is located in Acton, with easy access to local transport links.

Estimated Salary: Based on national averages and considering the location, we estimate the salary for this role to be around £20,000-£25,000 per annum.
