Experienced Fire Alarm Specialist

Cogent Staffing is recruiting on behalf of our client for an experienced Fire Alarm Engineer to join their team on a permanent basis.
Job Summary:We are seeking a highly skilled Fire Alarm Engineer to install, maintain, and repair fire alarm systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of fire alarm systems and relevant codes, as well as excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities:- Install, maintain, and repair fire alarm systems
- Conduct routine inspections and testing of fire alarm systems
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues
- Collaborate with clients to understand their fire safety needs
- Ensure compliance with local and national fire safety regulations
- Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used
- Proven experience as a Fire Alarm Engineer or similar role
- Strong knowledge of fire alarm systems and relevant codes
- Relevant certifications (e.g., NICET, FIA) are a plus
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to client site
