Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and proactive Financial Analyst / Management Accountant to join our team at Big Sky Additions. As a key member of our finance department, you will play a crucial role in the day-to-day financial operations, using your expertise in financial management to drive business growth and success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and produce monthly management accounts, ensuring timely and accurate reporting to the Finance Director.
  • Oversee day-to-day financial operations, including cash flow management, bank reconciliations, and ledger maintenance.
  • Support with budgeting and forecasting, providing insightful financial analysis to inform business strategy.
  • Perform variance analysis to highlight trends, risks, and opportunities.
  • Assist with year-end accounts and liaise with external auditors when required.
  • Maintain and improve financial controls and processes to support the growth of the business.
  • Engage in ad-hoc financial projects and initiatives to drive cost efficiencies and operational improvements.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Management Accountant in a hands-on role.
  • Proactive and driven, with a passion for process improvement and financial accuracy.
  • Desirable: Part or fully qualified in ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or similar accountancy qualifications.
