Job Title: Outdoor Activity Leader

Join the Ultimate Activity team as an Outdoor Activity Leader and be part of an exciting opportunity to deliver exceptional outdoor experiences for children.

About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Outdoor Activity Leader to join our team. As a key member of our Ultimate Survival program, you will be responsible for delivering a range of bushcraft and outdoor activities, leading a team of instructors, and ensuring the overall success of the program.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality outdoor activities and programs for children aged 7-14, focusing on participation, skill development, and enjoyment.
  • Manage a team of staff, providing guidance, support, and leadership to ensure excellent delivery of activities and programs.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with host schools, parents, and other stakeholders to ensure a smooth and successful program.
  • Ensure the safety and well-being of children and staff on-site, adhering to all policies and procedures.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of new programs and activities, ensuring they meet the needs of our clients and stakeholders.
Requirements
  • Previous experience in outdoor education, with a focus on bushcraft and working with children.
  • Proven leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders.
  • Good working knowledge of outdoor activities and programs, with the ability to develop and deliver new content.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible and adaptable approach to work.
