Salary: £18,000 - £20,000 per annumJob Description:

This exciting opportunity is available for a Level 3 Early Years Educator Apprentice to join our nursery school team. As an Apprentice Nursery School Early Years Educator, you will play a vital role in maintaining a safe environment, developing partnerships with parents/carers, and delivering an appropriate play-based Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum.

  • Maintain a safe environment for children, staff, and visitors.
  • Develop strong partnerships with parents/carers to enhance involvement in children's development.
  • Execute delegated tasks under the guidance of Deputy Manager/Nursery Manager.
  • Fulfill all academic requirements of the apprenticeship program.
  • Create a nurturing and stimulating indoor and outdoor educational environment.
  • Deliver an appropriate play-based Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum.
  • Ensure compliance with Ofsted requirements.
  • Adhere to nursery policies and procedures, including child protection protocols.
  • Provide activities aligned with early learning outcomes for individual progress.
  • Communicate effectively with parents/carers, sharing nursery curriculum updates and children's progress.
Training and Skills:
  • You will study for a Level 3 Early Years Educator qualification alongside your job role.
  • Functional Skills in maths and English may also be required.
  • Skills required include communication, attention to detail, customer care, problem solving, team working, creativity, initiative, non-judgemental, patience, and physical fitness.
