We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Nursery Manager to lead our team at Bright Stars Nursery Limited. As a key member of our staff, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our nursery, ensuring a fun and nurturing learning environment for children.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To manage and develop a high-performing team, ensuring staff are well-trained and supported in their roles.
  • To maintain accurate records and reports, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • To manage occupancy and financial budgets, ensuring targets are met and exceeded.
  • To ensure the Connect Childcare database system is up-to-date and accurate.
  • To develop and implement extra-curricular activities that meet the requirements of the EYFS.
  • To ensure staff ratios and deployment are maintained, ensuring the safety and well-being of children.
  • To take lead responsibility for safeguarding and child protection within the nursery.
  • To ensure the delivery of the EYFS, ensuring high-quality education and care for children.
  • To work closely with outside professionals, ensuring effective liaison and communication.
  • To support the Nursery SENDCo in all aspects of SEND provision.
  • To ensure the safer recruitment process is followed, ensuring the highest standards of recruitment and selection.
  • To complete weekly rotas and registers for staff and children attendance.
  • To provide policies and procedures, ensuring the nursery is compliant with regulatory requirements.
  • To ensure the physical health and well-being of children within the nursery.
