About the Role

We are seeking an accomplished Process Engineer to join our dynamic and fast-growing Process Engineering team, focusing on the development and delivery of business in the Energy, Water, and Industrial sectors.

The ideal candidate will have a background in Process engineering design on multi-disciplinary projects and demonstrable qualities of curiosity, personal drive, and strong technical/engineering skills.

As a Process Engineer at Arup, you will work in highly regulated sectors and be proficient in presentations to clients and other team members.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop process engineering solutions for clients in the Energy, Water, and Industrial sectors.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver projects on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and colleagues.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, technologies, and best practices to ensure the delivery of innovative and effective solutions.

Requirements

  • MEng in Chemical Engineering (or similar) / nearing Chartered Member status of the IChemE (or equivalent professional institution).
  • Experience with HazOp studies and inputting to resolution of technical matters.
  • Appreciation of batch processes, formulation, packaging technologies, sterile, aseptic, non-sterile environments.
  • Creation of P&IDs, plant layouts, GA, and energy and mass balances.
  • Development of feasibility studies, plant operating and capital costs, and design of utility systems.
