We are seeking a compassionate and caring individual to join our Shared Lives team as a Shared Lives Carer. As a Shared Lives Carer, you will provide support and companionship to adults with additional needs, enabling them to live independently in their own homes.
Key Responsibilities- Provide emotional support and companionship to adults with additional needs
- Assist with daily living tasks, such as personal care and household chores
- Encourage independence and participation in community activities
- Work collaboratively with the individual, their family, and other professionals to develop a personalized support plan
- Provide respite care on a short-break or live-in basis
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A spare room in your home
- A warm and welcoming attitude
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings and weekends
As a Shared Lives Carer, you will receive:
- A competitive weekly payment of £461-£562, depending on the level of support provided
- Support and guidance from our experienced team
