As a Strategic Communications Director at Walker Morris LLP, your role will be pivotal in shaping our brand's reputation and delivering impactful communications in line with our firm's strategy. You'll work closely with the Marketing and Communications Manager to develop and implement a comprehensive communications plan that drives business growth and enhances our brand's presence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a communications strategy that aligns with our firm's goals and objectives.
  • Lead on copywriting, providing high-quality content that showcases our brand's tone and style.
  • Work closely with our PR agency to deliver press and PR strategies that generate media coverage and enhance our reputation.
  • Manage our social media presence, developing and implementing a social media strategy that engages our audience and drives brand awareness.
  • Support the Marketing and Communications Manager in developing and implementing internal communications plans that inform and engage our team.
  • Provide guidance and support to the wider marketing and communications team to develop their copywriting skills.

Requirements:

  • Marketing or PR qualification is preferred but not essential.
  • Experience in a B2B in-house communications or PR role within professional services or within a marketing or PR agency.
  • Familiarity with the full marketing mix, including social and digital media, internal and client communications, and sponsorships.
  • Strong copywriting and proofreading skills.
  • Excellent communication skills and an ability to work effectively with a broad range of internal stakeholders and suppliers.
