Mathematics Teacher Job Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Mathematics Teacher to work within a cluster of Secondary Schools in the UK. As a supply teacher, you will deliver high-quality Mathematics lessons to pupils aged 11 to 16 (key stage 3 and 4) and be adaptable to cover pre-planned general cover lessons where required.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver Mathematics lessons to pupils aged 11 to 16
  • Be adaptable to cover pre-planned general cover lessons
  • Encourage pupils to interact within the class and engage in activities throughout the lesson
  • Provide detailed feedback on pupil's achievement and progress
  • Manage classroom behaviour in line with the schools policies and procedures

Qualifications & Requirements:
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
  • A degree in Mathematics or a related field
  • Right to work in the UK
  • Experience in teaching Mathematics at key stage 3 and 4
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • Passionate and dedicated to teaching and learning
  • Hold an enhanced child workforce DBS check on the update service or be willing to undertake a new one
