Halo Personnel is seeking a highly experienced Buyer and Procurement Expert to join our client's team in Barnsley. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the company's supply chain, building positive relationships with suppliers, and negotiating new contracts.
This is a full-time office-based position that offers a competitive salary of £28,000 per annum and benefits such as a 3% employer pension contribution and free, secure parking. To be successful in this role, you will need to have experience in procurement and supply chain, ideally from the manufacturing or engineering sectors.
You should be confident and enjoy dealing with suppliers over the phone and have strong relationship-building skills. A good understanding of incoterms and experience in reading and understanding drawings are also desirable.
