Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Principal Waste Management Consultant to join our UK team in Springfield. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering technical projects, producing high-quality deliverables, and working collaboratively with colleagues to achieve our goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement effective radioactive waste management strategies, ensuring compliance with national policies and legislation.
  • Lead on technical projects, providing expert advice and guidance to colleagues and stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to maintain and develop client relationships.
  • Conduct environmental permitting and assessment requirements, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Develop and implement continuous improvement initiatives, driving excellence in project delivery.

Requirements:

  • Degree in a physical science or equivalent training/experience.
  • Significant proven experience in radioactive waste management, with a minimum of 3-5 years' experience.
  • Proven experience in two or more of the following areas: decommissioning, characterisation, disposability assessments, application of environmental legislation, production of BAT/BPM assessments, DQO application, and waste assay techniques.
  • Able to prioritize based on business needs and lead on certain projects.
