Job Requirements
We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Maintenance Fitter to join our team at Tarmac's Bayston Hill Quarry, Shropshire. The ideal candidate will have Level 3 Apprentice training or ONC/NVQ Level 3 in Mechanical Engineering, as well as experience in Fabricating and Welding. A working knowledge of maintenance practices – hydraulics/pneumatics and relevant engineering principles is essential. Predictive Maintenance experience and working with Computer Maintenance Management Systems are also required. Additionally, the ability to use Root Cause Analysis, Failure Mode & Effect Analysis tools/techniques, and database systems is necessary. Understanding of mechanical systems, including hydraulics and pneumatics, and national/international codes and symbols used on drawings and specifications is also a must.

Salary and Benefits
