About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Relief Chef to join our team at Country Court Care Homes in London. As a Relief Chef, you will be responsible for providing high-quality meals for our residents and supporting the Chef Manager in managing the catering team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Aid in the preparation of high-quality meals for residents, adhering to food safety and hygiene standards.
  • Assist the Chef Manager in promoting and monitoring food hygiene and safety standards, conducting risk assessments, and ensuring the kitchen is cleaned to a high standard.
  • Responsible for the kitchen and staff in the Chef Manager's absence.
  • Assist the Chef Manager with menu planning and development.
Requirements
  • Valid food hygiene certificate.
  • Experience as a chef and working within a catering environment.
  • City & Guilds 7061 or NVQ Level 2 in Catering for the Hospitality Industry.
  • Ideally over 3 years' experience as a Chef or in a similar environment and role.
  • Driving license required.
