Surety Engineer - Safety and Security Specialist

Company Overview:

Estimated Salary:

£37,860 - £55,000 per annum

Job Description:

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of warhead systems. This will involve working with a multidisciplinary team to develop new technologies and products that enhance the surety of current and future product systems.

This role requires an engineer or scientist with both theoretical and practical experience, who can solve complex technical problems and progress novel conceptual/prototype technologies into mature products.

The successful candidate will work within the Warhead Engineering Surety Group and undertake frequent visits to delivery partners in the UK and overseas.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Strong degree or equivalent in an engineering or science-related discipline
  • Understanding of Systems Engineering methods and techniques
  • Ability to travel both in the UK and overseas
