Premier Group Recruitment is seeking a skilled Furniture Design Specialist to join our client's team in a permanent capacity. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in product design, with a focus on furniture design.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and design innovative furniture products using 2D and 3D CAD software.
- Produce technical drawings and fabrication plans to meet client requirements.
- Collaborate with clients to determine design specifications and preferences.
- Liaise with manufacturing providers to ensure timely and efficient production.
- Contribute to the final assembly of products and ensure high-quality finishes.
- Prepare and maintain accurate documentation, including design files and project reports.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in furniture design.
Requirements:
- At least 1-3 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
- Degree-qualified in Product Design, Industrial Design, or a related field.
- Proficient in 2D and 3D CAD software, including SolidWorks, AutoCAD, and Adobe Suite.
- Experience working with metal, wood, and extruded materials.
- Strong technical skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
