Procurement Strategist

About the Role

DCV Technologies Limited is seeking a highly skilled Procurement Strategist to join their team in Cheltenham. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing end-to-end tender processes from requirement to contract management, ensuring the delivery of commercial pipeline and supplier cost reduction targets.

The ideal candidate will have a degree in a business-related subject, CIPS qualification or working towards, and solid experience in procurement management within a matrix structure. Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Office and e-procurement tools, are also essential.

A salary of £60,000 - £80,000 per annum, depending on experience, is offered for this challenging role. In addition, you will have the opportunity to work with a dynamic team, develop your skills and knowledge, and contribute to the company's growth and success.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end tender processes from requirement to contract management
• Embed and develop continuous category management improvements
• Undertake the development, review and negotiation of large, complex contracts
• Deliver supplier cost reduction targets and ensure contract performance and risk management
• Deliver commercial support utilising the organisation's e-procurement tool
