Astute People are seeking a highly skilled EHSQ Manager to join their team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in environmental, health, and safety policies, legislation, and compliance. Responsibilities include reviewing and maintaining company-wide policies, overseeing management systems, and monitoring site-wide compliance. The successful candidate will also lead EHS investigations, work with third-party contractors, and manage a budget. **Responsibilities:**

* Review and maintain company-wide Environmental, Health & Safety policies, legislation, compliance issues, strategy, and procedures
* Oversee the maintenance of the Management Systems including EHS Legal Register and Corporate policies
* Monitor site-wide compliance, conduct audits, and support on-site H&S teams
* Lead any EHS investigations on incidents/risks
* Oversee the sites environmental permits to ensure compliance with the Environment Agency and relevant statutory bodies
* Manage a EHS budget

**Requirements:**

* Degree qualified in a relevant HSE field and either working towards or have already achieved chartership status
* Holder of NEBOSH in Occupational Safety & Health and IEMA Certificate in Environmental Management
* Experience/Qualification in quality management systems
* Working knowledge of CDM regulations, ISO14001, and OHSAS18001
* Prior HSE experience in a Heavy Process environment/similar industry
