About the Academic Development Office (ADO):

The Academic Development Office (ADO) plays a pivotal role in realizing the RCA's strategic vision for advancing art and design education. The ADO focuses on five key areas:

  • Developing new pedagogies, programmes, and partnerships
  • Enhancing and assuring quality across existing academic programmes
  • Delivering cross-college programmes and units
  • Supporting staff with educational development
  • Developing academic skills in students
MEd in Creative Education:

The MEd in Creative Education equips students with the skills to design, deliver, and evaluate innovative educational practices within creative contexts. The programme encourages reflection on educational values and supports students in translating these values into real-world creative educational practices. Through a series of self-initiated projects, students respond to both national and international educational contexts, encompassing a range of activities from formal education to community engagement.

Role Profile – Associate Lecturer (0.2 FTE):

As an Associate Lecturer, you will contribute to the MEd Creative Education programme, collaborating with the team to design, deliver, and evaluate the course. This includes leading and contributing to various units, with a specific focus on innovative approaches to creative education. The role requires a deep commitment to students, colleagues, and the wider College environment, with an emphasis on engagement within national and international contexts of creative education.
