">We are offering a competitive salary package for this role, estimated to be around £45,000 - £55,000 per annum, depending on experience. ">As a Cost Assurance Consultant in our specialist Cost Assurance team, you will play a key role in reviewing and scrutinizing actual incurred costs for major programmes and projects. Your primary responsibilities will include:
">- Reviewing construction contractor systems, controls, and processes to identify areas for improvement
- Analyzing complex construction contracts to ensure compliance with industry standards
- Planning financial audits to understand client objectives and risk areas
- Performing data analysis using smart techniques and tools to identify trends and patterns
- Producing findings reports that deliver key insights and recommendations
- Fostering good quality working relationships with clients and stakeholders
Required Skills and Qualifications
">To succeed in this role, you will need:
">- Data analysis skills, including the ability to review and draw insights from large quantities of data
- Excellent time management skills, with the ability to work in a team environment and handle variable workloads
- A sound understanding of construction industry technical matters, including disallowed cost areas and calculation of pain/gain amounts
- Contract management skills, preferably with experience of NEC3 (Option C, E)
