Job Title: Consultant in Stroke

Description: We are seeking an experienced Stroke Consultant for an ongoing locum role at a hospital in South West England. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in stroke management and patient care, with a minimum of 1 year of NHS experience at Consultant level.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage patient care on the Hyperacute Stroke Unit (HASU) and Acute Stroke Unit (ASU)
  • Respond to thrombolysis and thrombectomy calls
  • Support Consultant Board Rounds at the Stroke Sub Acute Rehabilitation Units

Requirements:

  • GMC registration
  • Minimum 1 year of NHS experience at Consultant level
  • Escalated pay rates available

Location: South West England

Contract Type: Long-term locum role
