Control Systems Hardware Engineer

Job Title: Control Systems Hardware Engineer
We are seeking an experienced Control Systems Hardware Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing control systems for our clients. This includes designing hardware systems using proprietary components for control panels and primarily focused on PLC's, MCCs, Drives & Controls, and Switchgear.
Key Responsibilities:
- Designing electrical panels containing PLC's and LV distribution systems
- Designing electrical cabling and containment systems
- Developing technical solutions to meet project and customer expectations
- Mentoring and developing engineers and technicians
Requirements:
- Educated to at least degree level in a relevant subject or HND with additional experience on project implementation
- Good working knowledge of AutoCAD Electrical, Microsoft office word & excel
- Able to achieve security clearance to at least SC level, and possibly DV
- Excellent communication skills as client contact and mentoring is required
Estimated Salary: £60,000 - £75,000 per annum, depending on experience.
