**Key Responsibilities**

  • Support the Nursery Manager in the overall management of the nursery, including staff supervision, budgeting, and resource allocation.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure the nursery meets the highest standards of childcare and education.
  • Lead by example, promoting a positive and inclusive culture within the nursery, and ensuring that all staff are supported and empowered to provide high-quality care and education.
  • Work closely with the Nursery Manager to develop and implement strategies to improve the nursery's performance and achieve its goals.
  • Ensure that all aspects of the nursery's operations are compliant with relevant laws, regulations, and standards.

**Requirements**

  • At least Level 3 qualified in a UK recognised early years qualification.
  • Excellent understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) and safeguarding procedures.
  • Extensive knowledge of childcare and education principles and practices.
  • Leadership experience within a nursery setting, with a proven track record of success.
