Job Title: Family Solicitor

Gemini Recruitment is partnering with a leading law firm to recruit a dedicated NQ Family Solicitor for a highly sought permanent position.

The firm serves corporate entities and private individuals in over 25 practice areas from offices throughout London and across England and Wales. They are recognized for their expertise in family and matrimonial work, providing confidential advice with effective representation.

Main Duties and Responsibilities
  • Responsible for all aspects of Family Law work, including providing technical expertise and guidance to other team members.
  • Ability to manage and supervise Solicitors, Trainee Solicitors, and Caseworkers to manage appropriate caseload types and complexities.
  • Assisting with delivery of appropriate training and development in the department.
  • Variety of duties, including dealing with a range of Family and Children work, including divorce, financial disputes, and remedies, international elements of child abduction/adoption, injunctions/non-molestation orders, and providing technical expertise and guidance to other team members.
  • Strong client care skills and a professional, proactive approach.

  • NQ Solicitor.
  • Commitment to providing an excellent standard of service to clients.
  • Strong management skills.
  • Committed team player with ability to approach team concerns fairly, foster a culture of positive change, and encourage cross-referrals.
  • Previous proven supervisory experience and working to key performance indicators.
  • Professional with a proactive approach, excellent client care skills, and ability to deal with vulnerable client matters in a sensitive manner and resolve complicated practicalities involved in Family Law issues.
  • Excellent networking and communication skills with the ability to successfully market the company and generate new business.
  • Working knowledge of publicly funded Family Law work and ability to service privately funded cases.
  • Extensive experience in dealing with all Family Law work-related work and some expertise on adoption matters.
  • Experience in own advocacy is an advantage.
  • Excellent IT skills, familiar with Microsoft Office applications, and document management skills.
