Role Overview

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing effective corporate communications strategies, ensuring seamless integration with employee engagement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Design and execute annual plans for benefits and wellbeing communications, considering both annual enrolment events and routine awareness initiatives.
  2. Collaborate with Corporate Communications to ensure alignment and understanding of accountabilities in all communications activities.
  3. Maintain and enhance Access Benefits pages to provide employees with easy access to benefit information.
  4. Analyze existing technology platforms to identify opportunities for enhancing employee benefit understanding and engagement.
  5. Support local and global wellbeing champion initiatives by sharing relevant communication plans and establishing a two-way channel for knowledge sharing and feedback.
  6. Stay up-to-date with external trends and best practices in media, technology, and other communications approaches, identifying potential value-added solutions for the company.

Requirements & Skills

Skills / Competencies

  1. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  2. Ability to design and develop tactical and strategic communication plans.
  3. High levels of integrity, confidentiality, diplomacy, and resilience.
  4. Experience working in a matrix environment.
  5. Proficiency in IT and numerical skills, including Advanced Excel.
  6. Capacity to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team.

Experience & Qualifications

Desirable Skills & Experience

  1. Previous experience working in a multinational or global financial services organization.
  2. Understanding of both UK and US employee benefit programs, including regulatory and compliance context.
  3. Knowledge of other geographies or country benefit programs would be beneficial.
  4. Proven use of multiple communication channels and approaches in various media.
  5. Development and management of communications effectiveness measures.
  6. Experience in developing wellbeing programs is desirable.

What We Offer

As a Corporate Comms Expert at McNeil & Co., you will have the opportunity to work with a talented team, drive business growth, and enjoy a competitive salary package. Our estimated salary for this position is £65,000 - £75,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.

Our estimated salary range has been calculated based on industry standards, location, and the level of responsibility associated with this role.
