Are you a seasoned Quantity Surveyor looking for a new challenge? We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our client's commercial team in the UK Construction sector.

About the Role:

As a Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will play a key role in leading the team on a project, working collaboratively with customers and industry specialists. You will be responsible for adding value and ensuring best practice throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Exposure to the full project lifecycle, from pre-construction to project delivery
  • Working alongside the project delivery team to ensure contractual control and cost management of projects across different sectors
  • Managing commercial aspects of subcontract accounts from procurement to interim and final account agreement
  • Final account negotiation to ensure the best possible outcome
  • Leading and managing junior Surveyors

Requirements:

  • Main contractor experience as the SQS within the Construction space
  • Experience of different contract forms
  • Experience on projects ranging between £10m to £50m
  • Experience in establishing, managing, and leading a large project team
