Ambulance Operations Coordinator

">Job SummaryWe are seeking an experienced Ambulance Fleet Assistant to join our team based in Somerset. As an essential member of our fleet operations, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth maintenance and operation of our ambulance fleet.
Key Responsibilities- Manage vehicle off-road status and update daily records
- E nsure defects are promptly cleared and vehicle deep cleans are completed with supporting documentation
- C oordinate scheduled and non-scheduled maintenance and repairs in a timely and cost-effective manner
- C arry out checks and replacements of electrical components, within EMED guidelines
- E nsure adequate supply of basic spare parts are available and maintained within the Leicester Contract and any defects reported as per the defect process
- W ork safely, ensuring Health and Safety and COSHH regulations are adhered to
- H old a full, current driving licence for driving in the UK
- E xperience of repairing and servicing mechanical products
- E xperience of using practical and mechanical skills
- A bility to read and interpret blown view drawings
- D emonstrate the ability to identify improvements to processes and services
- $11.94 per hour
- 37.5 hours per week, spread over 5 shifts within a working week – 8am-4pm, Monday-Friday
