Exciting Opportunity: SEN Behavioural Support Teaching Assistant

This is an exciting opportunity to work as a Behavioural Support Teaching Assistant in a highly specialised learning environment. You will play a crucial role in supporting students aged 11-16 with Autism and associated conditions, helping them to manage sensory overload, anxiety, and transitions while working towards their personal and educational goals.

As a Behavioural Support Teaching Assistant, you will provide tailored support to students in their learning, development, and progress across all areas of the curriculum. You will assist students with personal and educational goals, particularly those with profound and multiple learning difficulties.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide support to students in their learning, development, and progress across all areas of the curriculum.
  • Assist students with personal and educational goals, particularly those with profound and multiple learning difficulties.
  • Work with the teaching team to develop and implement individualised learning plans.
  • Provide emotional support and guidance to students, helping them to manage their behaviour and develop positive relationships with their peers.
