About the Role

As a Registered Nurse at Signature Senior Lifestyle, you will be responsible for the running of a defined area of the home, with the authority and accountability to make care decisions. You will coordinate the day-to-day running of your care area, providing personal care to residents, leadership and guidance to the care team, managing monthly routine medication, and supervising the care team when delivering this. You will also respond to any and all emergency situations.

Your Key Responsibilities
  • Named nurse for individual residents, focusing on their needs assessments and personal care plans
  • Develop strong relationships with residents, involving them in decisions about their care
  • Ensure accurate and up-to-date documentation
  • Act as a role model for all staff and mentor to the care services team
  • Share specialist knowledge to ensure the highest standards of care
Requirements

We are looking for a kind and compassionate individual who is positive and resilient, proactive and organised, honest and accountable, passionate and keen to develop. An active NMC registration and awareness of CQC regulations are essential. Post-registration qualifications are a big advantage.
