Project: Power Transmission Framework
We are seeking a highly skilled and committed Sub Agent to join an established team at Dounreay Substation. As a Sub Agent, you will support the Site Agent in managing various elements of the construction project.
Key Responsibilities:- Assist the Site Agent in planning and coordinating all on-site construction activities, including scheduling, resource management, and subcontractor coordination.
- Liaise with subcontractors, suppliers, and key stakeholders to ensure work packages are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
- Monitor progress against project milestones and budgets, identifying any deviations or issues and taking corrective action where necessary.
- Prepare method statements, risk assessments, and other project documentation in line with health and safety regulations and company policies.
- Carry out regular site inspections and audits to ensure compliance with health and safety, environmental regulations, and project specifications.
- Provide technical support and guidance to site staff, addressing technical queries and coordinating any required design changes.
- Assist in preparing progress reports, including daily diaries, photographic records, and as-built drawings to document project activities and accomplishments.
- Degree or diploma in civil engineering, construction management, or a related field.
- Previous experience in a similar role within the construction industry, with strong knowledge of construction techniques and processes.
- Excellent organisational and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and stakeholders effectively.
- Familiarity with health and safety regulations, environmental standards, and quality management systems.
- Competence in using construction software and tools, such as project management software and CAD programmes, is an advantage.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team, while also demonstrating independence and minimal supervision.
