About the Role:

  • Position: English Literature/Language Teaching Assistant.
  • Location: Greenwich.
  • Contract type: Long term, full-time, temporary contract.
  • Pay: £95.00 – £105.00 per day (holiday pay included).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the delivery of English Literature/Language lessons, providing support to teachers and students.
  • Engage with students to inspire a love for English Literature/Language and encourage academic success.
  • Participate in extracurricular activities and contribute to the wider school community.
  • Work collaboratively with staff to enhance the learning experience for all students.

Essential Requirements:

  • A minimum of a 2:1 degree in English Literature/Language or a related field.
  • Passionate about working with young people and supporting their educational journey.
  • Commitment to a career in education and a desire to pursue teacher training in the future.
  • Strong communication & interpersonal skills.
