Job Summary:
Belcan Workforce Solutions is seeking a highly skilled Certified Aeronautical Engineer to join our team as a B1.3 Licensed Engineer for one of our clients based in the UK.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide engineering operational support to Flight Operations.
- Accomplish maintenance inspections and repairs as directed by nominated LAE Supervisor.
- Work as a team leader and to high standards to ensure continued safe operation of the aircraft.
- Complete maintenance, including airframe structure, power plant, mechanical and electrical systems.
- Replace avionic line replaceable units, requiring simple tests to prove their serviceability.
- Supervise mechanical fitters and the certification of their work.
- Conduct off-aircraft mechanical, power plant, component and composite technical work in workshops as required.
- Assist in the day-to-day running of the aircraft hangar, including aircraft movement and general housekeeping responsibilities.
Requirements:
- Must have thorough knowledge of engine and airframe systems.
- Knowledge of specialized test equipment relating to engine and airframe systems.
- Up-to-date knowledge of CAA regulations, particularly Pt 145, Part M and UK ANOs.
- Continued Airworthiness Management (CAM) knowledge.
- Flight/Airport Operations knowledge.
- Aircraft Line Maintenance knowledge.
Desirable Qualifications:
- Knowledge of UK Military Aviation and UK MFTS.
- Experience with SAP and ERP software.
Education and Qualifications:
- CAA Part 66 B1.3 Licence (Turbine Rotorcraft).
- Type Rating and experience H135, H145.
Experience:
- 3 years' experience in a certifying role.
- Experience of Flight Operations and Line Maintenance.
