About the Role

The Sussex Partnership NHS Foundation Trust is a leading provider of mental health services, and we are seeking an experienced Band 5 Mental Health Registered Nurse to join our team at the Uckfield Community Hospital. As a Staff Nurse, you will have the opportunity to deliver patient-centred care supporting patients with dementia in a specialist acute ward environment.

In this role, you will work as part of a multidisciplinary team undertaking assessments of patients with complex mental health needs, developing care plans with patients and their families/carers. You will also assess and manage risks, working closely with other teams and professionals to ensure effective discharge planning.

This post also offers a relocation package up to £8,000 (subject to terms and conditions).

To be successful in this role, you will need to be a registered nurse with current registration appropriate to the job role, possess knowledge of MHA (1983/2007) and the Mental Capacity Act (2005), and demonstrate ability to enhance care through evidence-based knowledge.
