Female Security Specialist

As a female Security Officer with Securitas Security Services, you'll have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive environment where your skills and unique perspective are celebrated. You'll be responsible for conducting searches of all employees, visitors, and contractors leaving the site, patrolling industrial, scientific, and office buildings, and large perimeters. You'll also be conducting searches of vehicles entering and exiting the site, monitoring outdoor vehicle loading and unloading operations, and responding to security incidents and COMAH related incidents. Your role will involve working independently and as part of a team, and you'll be expected to maintain a high level of physical fitness. You'll also be required to wear provided PPE and undergo regular physical searches and X-ray machine checks. If you have body piercings, you may be required to remove them before your shift. A valid driving license and SIA license are required for this role, and a 5-year checkable history is also necessary. You'll be working a 4-day on, 4-day off shift pattern with one complimentary hot or cold meal per shift, and you'll also have access to a range of benefits including a company pension, life assurance scheme, and discounted gym memberships.   • Conducting searches of all employees/visitors/contractors leaving site.
  • Patrolling industrial, scientific, and office buildings, and large perimeter.
  • Conducting searches of vehicles entering and exiting site.
  • Monitoring outdoor vehicle loading/unloading operations and production process for security compliance.
  • Conducting site control room operations responding to both security incidents & COMAH related incidents.
  • Responding on foot to incidents and building/area zone alarms, manage keys and perform locking and unlocking duties.

NB: PPE is provided and must be always worn. It is essential on this site that all staff have regular physical searches as well as X-ray machine searches. Therefore, anyone with body piercings may be required to remove these before a shift.

Essential Skills
  • SIA Licence
  • Driving Licence with access to a vehicle.
  • The right to work in the UK and a 5-year checkable history
  • Excellent customer service, people skills, organisational skills and time management
  • Regular physical searches and x-ray machine checks are mandatory on this site. If you have body piercings, you may be required to remove them before your shift.
