The role involves coordinating all stores functions including stock control, incoming, and outgoing stock and materials. Key responsibilities include:

  • Achieving accurate stock and stock level monitoring, advising procurement of timely reordering requirements
  • Booking incoming stock and materials into the ERP system, matching up purchase orders, checking quantity, quality, and certification of products
  • Picking and issuing all requested stock for workshops and business lines including raw materials and spares, locating in designated areas, and updating the ERP system daily
  • Informing procurement and relevant business lines of any shortages against requested stock
  • Coordinating the secure packaging and marking of finished goods ready for shipping
  • Processing job returns, locating stock or excess raw material, and updating the ERP system
  • Participating in periodic rolling stock counts as determined by the Stock and Materials Manager or audit requirements
  • Investigating any stock discrepancies and escalating accordingly

To be successful in this position, you will have strong stock control experience and previous experience in goods in/goods out. Proficiency in using ERP systems and other Microsoft-based packages like Word and Excel is essential. A valid forklift license is required for this role.
