Supplier Quality Assurance Specialist

Key Responsibilities:
Process new supplier requests and collaborate with other departments to ensure suppliers have the necessary capabilities, approvals, and certifications.
Assist in the monitoring and maintenance of supplier approvals and address supplier quality issues.
Work with other departments to ensure timely completion of Failure Reports and support suppliers with quality-related issues.
Provide performance measures and analysis on failure report activities, including trend and root cause analysis.
Coordinate the Supplier Review Board (Supplier performance review) and maintain and improve the Approved Supplier Management procedure and related documents.
Requirements:
- Strong knowledge and understanding of ISO 9001:2015
- Formal lead auditor qualification (ISO9001:2015/AS9100D)
- Minimum of 3 years of proven experience in a supplier quality assurance role within the civil and/or military aviation sector or a similar regulated environment
- Knowledge of continuing airworthiness regulations (UK Part 145 / Part CAMO) and initial airworthiness regulation (UK Part 21 sub part G) is desirable
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a thorough understanding of root cause and corrective action reporting and analysis
- Strong communication skills
- Motivated, organized, with attention to detail and the ability to complete tasks with minimal supervision
- Proficiency in MS Office applications
